Volkswagen Amarok recalled

More than 700 examples of the Volkswagen Amarok have been recalled to fix a fault with the driver's seatbelt.

As a result, the seatbelt may not operate as intended," the carmaker said in its recall notice.

"In the event of an accident, if the seatbelt does not operate as intended, the occupant may not receive the full protection of the seatbelt system. This could increase the risk of injury or death to vehicle occupants." If you own an affected Amarok, you'll be contacted by Volkswagen to schedule an appointment to have the work carried out, free of charge.
