Chinese smartphone brand vivo has launched its latest Y-series smartphone, the vivo Y300, in India. The vivo Y300 is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset with an advanced 4nm processor and 8GB of RAM, expandable via Extended RAM 3.0 for smooth multitasking.
It sports a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. For photography, equipped with a 50MP Sony IMX882 main sensor and a 2MP Bokeh lens.
The front camera is a 32MP shooter. Additionally, night photography offers features like AI Supermoon, Stylish Night Filters, and a Super Night Algorithm. It houses a 5,000mAh battery with 80W FlashCharge claiming to reach a full charge in minutes.
According to vivo, the battery is designed for durability, with a lifespan of four years and comprehensive 24-dimension security protection. The smartphone is IP64-rated for dust and water resistance, and its wet-touch technology ensures reliability in various conditions. Audio is another highlight, with a 300% Audio Booster, Dual Stereo Speakers, and Hi-Res Wired and Wireless certification for immersive sound quality.
This new device, priced at ₹21,999 for the 8GB+128GB variant and ₹23,999 for the 8GB+256GB variant, offers premium features at an affordable price. It will be available in Titanium Silver, Emerald Green, and Phantom Purple starting November 26, with pre-bookings open from November 21 to November 25 across vivo’s e-store, Flipkart, Amazon, and partner retail stores. Additionally, users can grab the vivo TWS 3e earbuds at a discounted price of ₹1,499 when purchased alongside the Y300.
