vivo has announced the vivo Y29s 5G, boasting similar specifications to last year’s vivo Y28s 5G but with notable upgrades. This new model features a 50MP camera and a larger 5500mAh BlueVolt battery.The vivo Y29s 5G sports a 6.

74-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 1600×720 and a 90Hz refresh rate. Powering the device is a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The standout feature is its 5500mAh battery, supporting 15W charging.



For optics, the smartphone includes a dual camera setup at the back with a 50MP main camera. While in front, an 8MP selfie shooter takes care of selfies and video calls.Battery longevity is a key highlight for the Y29s 5G, promising a 5-year battery life with up to 1600 charge/discharge cycles while retaining 80% capacity.

The device also includes 24-Dimension Security Protection to safeguard the phone during charging.Durability is another strong feature of the phone, boasting an SGS five-star overall unit drop resistance, military-grade shock resistance, and an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance.Additional features include a side fingerprint scanner, face unlock, USB-C port, and Funtouch OS 15 on top of Android 15.
