Vivo is set to launch the T4 5G, a smartphone that will combine a slim profile with a large 7300 mAh battery—currently the biggest battery in a smartphone, according to the company. At just 0.789 cm thick, the T4 5G’s Emerald Blaze edition will also be the slimmest phone in its category.
The standout feature of the device is its 7300 mAh battery, aimed at users who require long-lasting performance without frequent charging. To achieve this, Vivo is introducing new battery technologies including BlueVolt anode materials and third-generation silicon. These components are designed to increase energy density by 15.
7% over the previous generation, allowing for more compact and efficient power storage. To manage heat and maintain battery stability during high-load tasks like gaming and streaming, the T4 5G will include a Direct Drive Power Supply system. This technology delivers power directly to the device, reducing heat buildup and improving efficiency.
It also includes trickle charging to reduce thermal stress and extend battery life. Other battery-focused features include Carbon Nanotube conduction, Electrode Reshaping, and Nano Cage Structure, all of which are intended to reduce battery degradation over time. Charging is handled by vivo’s 90W FlashCharge system, which will allow users to recharge quickly.
The Vivo T4 5G appears to be targeting users who prioritize long battery life without compromising on form factor. The company has not yet confirmed the pricing for the device. Vivo T4 5G is scheduled to launch on April 22 and will be available on Flipkart.
