The council has relaunched the Visit Bolton website with the aim offering residents and visitors easier access to the latest information on the town’s attractions and events. The new website features an events calendar, and details of attractions, dining, and shopping in the area. There is also a "build your own itinerary" option to help people plan their trips.
With Bolton being recognised as Greater Manchester's Town of Culture 2024, the website also aims to highlight major cultural events, including the Bolton Food and Drink Festival and the IRONMAN weekend. Visit Bolton has also developed a new brand that aims to "foster community pride among residents," and help support the town's economy. Nadeem Ayub, the council’s executive member for culture, said: "The enhanced Visit Bolton brand is a testament to our commitment to elevating Bolton’s reputation as a destination of choice, drawing visitors from near and far.
"This new website provides an engaging and informative resource that reflects the vibrancy and welcoming spirit of our town." READ MORE: Where is After the Flood filmed in the north west?
