Vishal to begin direction for 'Thupparivalan 2' in November

Actor Vishal is gearing up for his directorial debut with 'Thupparivaalan 2' after completing the pre-production in London. The film, a sequel to Mysskin's 'Thupparivaalan', will be shot in Azerbaijan, Malta, and London. Vishal plays the lead role alongside Prasanna, with music composed by Ilaiyaraaja.

(Image: X) Actor Vishal who was last seen in the Tamil film ' Rathnam ' is all set to start shooting for his directorial debut movie 'Thupparivaalan 2'. The Express news report suggests that the pre-production work that was happening in London has been completed and that the film is all set to go on floors in November this year. Vishal earlier revealed that the movie will be shot in Azerbaijan, Malta and London and his role as Kaniyan Poongrundan , the detective travels around the world to solve cases using his detective skills.

The movie is the sequel of Mysskin 's 'Thupparivaalan' but the director later stepped down due to creative differences with Vishal and now the actor is ready to step into the shoes to make his directorial debut. Following 'Rathnam', Vishal did not sign up for any other films as he wanted to completely focus on making ' Thupparivalan 2 ' and the movie features Vishal and Prasanna in lead roles and the makers are yet to announce the rest of the cast and crew. Ilaiyaraaja is said to compose the music for the film.
