Virgin River enthusiasts have been fervently discussing a critical scene in the final episode of season six, which might leave a key character utterly destitute. Throughout the most recent instalment of the beloved Netflix show, Dan Brady (portrayed by Benjamin Hollingsworth) has been romantically involved with Lark (Elise Gatien) oblivious to her involvement in a con with local villain Jimmy (Ian Tracey). Yet, as the plot unfolds, Lark seemingly develops genuine feelings for Brady and vows to abandon her deceitful plans when confronted by him.
This change of heart occurs just before she accidentally eavesdrops on a revealing exchange between Brady and his former partner Brie Sheridan (Zibby Allen). Despite both having moved on to new relationships - Brie's current partner Mike (Marco Grazzini) even proposes in the season finale - they previously succumbed to their desires and became intimate earlier in the series. They later declared their love for one another during the nuptials of Mel Monroe (Alexandra Breckenridge) and Jack Sheridan (Martin Henderson).
Following this revelation, Lark makes the drastic decision to abscond, emptying Brady's bank account in the process. However, viewers are questioning the plausibility of this twist, reports the Mirror US . Apple TV+ Prime Target: Quintessa Swindell's age, previous roles, tattoos and more Netflix fans told to watch 'one of the best prison movies' that is 'not talked about enough' A fan expressed their skepticism on Reddit, highlighting perceived inconsistencies in Lark's vengeful act against her cheating beau.
"In the last episode, Lark steals all of Brady's money. It's completely ridiculous the way they portray it," the viewer argued. "Bank apps always require you to authenticate, usually with something like FaceID, which Lark wouldn't have.
"Even if Brady's bank and/or phone had terrible security, bank transfers take days to complete. Just call the bank and say it was a fraudulent transfer. It was the weekend; nothing is happening until Monday anyway.
" The fan went into further detail: "Let's say she wanted to do a wire transfer. Has anyone tried to do that? If you're a regular person, then wire transfers are an absolute pain and take a bunch of upfront work. And even wire transfers take time to complete.
" Firm in their disbelief, they concluded, "If Brady had a pile of cash or BitCoin or something, it would have been possible. You can't just clean someone out electronically instantly in real life." Sabrina Carpenter fans can stream 'A Nonsense Christmas' with Sky's new £15 TV and Netflix bundle .
The Essential TV plan includes more than 100 Sky channels including Sky Atlantic, plus subscriptions to Netflix and Discovery+. £15 Despite being ostensibly set in a realistic world, fans concurred that Lark hacking Brady's bank account to steal all his savings in mere moments crossed the line of plausibility. Adding to the criticism, one viewer remarked, "And you cannot make a bank transfer of all the money of the account," attaching a rolling-eyes emoji to express their scepticism.
"The amount is always limited." On the other hand, a different fan offered a counter perspective, suggesting, "Yea I was willing to look past it. Maybe she saw his passcode or maybe he's sent her money.
Idk. I just really hate Lark so I'm trying to justify it." The series may provide a more comprehensive explanation when it comes back for its seventh season, but currently, Virgin River fans are left puzzled.
