New Delhi: Virat Kohli was spotted attending Krishna Das kirtan in Mumbai with his wife Anushka Sharma, hours after Team India’s 8-wicket defeat against New Zealand in the 1st Test between the two sides at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. New Zealand went 1-0 up in the 3-match series after registering their first Test victory in India after 36 years.

Kohli was earlier spotted leaving for Mumbai from Bengaluru on Sunday after the conclusion of the 1st Test. Kohli had a mask on his face as he tried to leave Bengaluru in disguise. While the rest of the Indian squad, including skipper Rohit Sharma decided to fly straight to Pune for the 2nd Test, Kohli flew to Mumbai to spend time with his family.

Later in the evening, he was seen attending Krishna Das kirtan with his wife Anushka. The couple had attended a similar kirtan in London earlier this year when Kohli was on a break following India’s memorable triumph in the T20 World Cup 2024. Kohli and Anushka, who are one of the most popular couples in India, have often been spotted together at spiritual gatherings and temples.

India suffered a spectacular batting collapse as the Kiwi pacers ran riot with the new ball, making the most of the overcast conditions.

Yashasvi Jaiswal (13) and Rishabh Pant (20) were the only Indian batters, who managed to score in double figures as India were bowled out for their lowest-ever total at home. Click for more latest Cricket news . Also get top headlines and latest news from India and around the world at News9.
