CATSKILL — The Catskill Village Board of Trustees set a public hearing for later this month on a bill that would allow residents to rent accessory dwelling units. The intent of the law is to increase the village’s affordable housing stock by allowing multiple-dwelling units on a single residential lot. An unit can range from a basement, garage, attic apartment, or a tiny house separate from a main home that sits in the same lot, and cannot be built in a large apartment complex.
