A parish council have brought in more policing after a recreation ground was ruined by tyre marks. A councillor from Reydon Parish Council visited the recreation ground, in Reydon, to help assemble new goal posts, as part of the new play equipment installation, only to find "huge" tyre marks over the football pitch. The wet weather has caused the marks to become muddy grooves.

The parish council informed residents on social media, advising that it has informed the police and more policing will be in the area. In the post, it said: "The police have been informed and will be policing the area as much as possible but they have also asked us to ask all the Reydon residents to keep a watch out, and if you see anything suspicious going on please dial 999 and report it straight away. "Please don't report the playground installers though as they are doing a sterling job!".
