Vikrant Massey, Raashii Khanna’s The Sabarmati Report Gets Postponed Again, To Release On November 15

The Sabarmati Report is based on the unfortunate burning of the Sabarmati Express in Gujarat’s Godhra on February 27, 2002.

After facing multiple delays, the Vikrant Massey and Raashii Khanna drama thriller film The Sabarmati Report is now expected to be released on November 15. Directed by Dheeraj Sarna and backed by Ektaa Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms, the film is based on the unfortunate burning of the Sabarmati Express in Gujarat’s Godhra on February 27, 2002. Taking to Instagram, actor Vikrant Massey dropped a new poster of The Sabarmati Report and wrote in the caption, “The burning truth will be out on 15th November! Stay Tuned! #TheSabarmatiReportonly in cinemas!” The new poster depicts a burning train along with a burning mic lying on the ground.

” The Sabarmati Report, announced in January this year, was earlier slated to hit the theatres on May 3. However, it was later pushed back to July and then August 2. Recently, several reports suggested that the makers are planning to release the film in September or October 2024.

But now, the film co-produced by Vikir Films Productions will be arriving in the theatres on November 15. Apart from Vikrant Massey Vikrant Massey and Raashii Khanna, the film also stars Riddhi Dogra in a pivotal role. Previously, the makers of The Sabarmati Report released a teaser of the film which featured Vikram Massey playing the role of a journalist, Samar Kumar, sitting in a studio as he announced the news on February 27, 2002, when the Godhra accident happened.

Reportedly, Raashii will be seen playing the role of a reporter while Riddhi will portray a senior news anchor. Meanwhile, Vikrant’s thriller film Sector 36 co-starring Deepak Dobriyal is currently streaming on Netflix. Raashii, on the other hand, was last seen in the Tamil horror-comedy film Aranmanai 4.
