Recently, Bollywood actor Vikrant Massey revealed his change in political stance in regards to BJP. Massey, for years, had been critical of the BJP. However, in recent times, Massey has warmed up to the political party.
As a result, many people on social media have accused him of changing his stand because of his upcoming movie, The Sabarmati Report . Now, Massey said that his stand changed because of the first hand experiences he had in recent years. In a new podcast appearance, Massey said he has changed in the last decade, and hopes to evolve in the decade to come.

Change is the only constant, and I am not saying just for the quote. My perspective on things have changed over the years. But as I said, I am still a secular person.
” Explaining further, Massey added, “Owing to the nature of my job, I have traveled throughout the country, and I meet different people. I meet thousands of people on a daily basis. I also have my own eyes and ears.
So, a few things that I used to think were wrong, today I don’t think they are wrong. Because I think things aren’t as bad as I had previously thought. I travel through UP and Bihar to do small budget films set in rural India; I meet people there and have discussions there.

He said things aren’t as bad as they are being portrayed, and added that India is the best country to live in. He continued, “Things that I used to think were bad, they actually aren’t bad, from my point of view.
The things that I used to like about others, they aren’t that good in reality. I am also a constantly evolving person. Today I feel it is not as bad.
People say Hindus are in danger, I don’t think they are in danger. People say Muslims are in danger, no one is in danger. Everything is going well.
This is the best country to live in the world. Go to Europe, France, America, you will see and know what is happening. This is the only livable country right now and this is the only country which is the future of the world.

I don’t see a left anymore.” In conclusion, Massey added, “The country is developing. I have also been respected and honored by the Government of India.
I was called to the oath taking ceremony. My film is shown to kids in government schools, I didn’t ask them to show it but they were shown 12th Fail so that they can be inspired to make a mark and contribute towards the development of the country. So these are good things, I am happy.
