Viduthalai 2: Vijay Sethupathi and Manju Warrier starrer Tamil crime thriller movie is about to release this week. The prequel received wide recognition from the audience and critics which released in theatres in 2023. The first part of the film earned Rs 36.
98 crore in India. Since the sequel has been announced, fans are excited to watch Viduthalai 2. The movie will be released in theatres on December 20, 2024.
Viduthalai 2 Plot And Cast The story revolves around the backstory of Perumal Vaathiyaar (played by Vijay Sethupathi). It will showcase the transformation of Perumal while he has been oppressed. The consequences of the same will be showcased in the later of the movie.
Manju Warrier will be playing the love interest of Vijay Sethupathi’s character. Both the protagonists will be seen fighting for justice. Viduthalai 2 stars Soori as Constable Kumaresan, Vijay Sethupathi as Perumal ‘Vaathiyaar’, Manju Warrier as Mahalakshmi, Kishore as Perumal's father, Bhavani Sre as Tamilarasi alias Paapa, Gautham Vasudev Menon as DSP Sunil Menon IPS, Rajiv Menon as A Subramaniyan.
It also features Attakathi Dinesh, Bose Venkat, Vincent Asokan, Ravi Mariya, Anurag Kashyap and Prakash Raj in significant roles. The film has been directed by Vetrimaaran and produced by Elred Kumar and Vetrimaaran. Viduthalai 2 The Tamil movie underwent minor cuts and will have a runtime of 2 hours and 50 minutes.
As per reports, the film got ‘A’ censorship by CBFC. The first part of the film also got ‘A’ censorship. While sharing the trailer of the movie, the South superstar wrote on Instagram “Most anticipated #ViduthalaiPart2 trailer is out now.
