Ludhiana: Three videos of a group of youngsters holding car races and burnouts have surfaced on social media . The number plates of some of the cars have been captured in the videos and the traffic police are now tracing the owners. In the first video, the youngsters can be seen standing alongside the cars preparing for a race, while in the second video, two cars are captured racing while a man stands in the middle of the road, keeping a check on the timer.

In the third video, the youngsters are seen doing burnouts. Assistant commissioner of police (traffic) Chiranjiv Lamba said: “I have received the videos in which the youngsters are seen doing car stunts and racing. Though the location where this is occurring is unconfirmed, some of the number plates are visible.



We have sought details of those cars from the secretary of Ludhiana regional transport authority. Once the details are received, we will trace the youngsters too.” “Such activities are illegal and cannot be allowed.
