An NBA star got into a fight at the Colorado vs. Colorado State college football game over the weekend. Derrick White, an NBA Finals winner for the Boston Celtics, got into a scrap with friends at the Colorado vs.

Colorado State rivalry game in Fort Collins on Saturday evening. TMZ Sports found video of White and his friends appearing to get into a fight behind one of the end zones at Canvas Stadium. White is a University of Colorado alum and was trying to enjoy the game, when a fight broke out behind one of the end zones.



From TMZ Sports: In the third quarter -- as it became clear White's Buffs were likely going to win -- the apparent arguing turned violent ...

as you can see in our video, a man in a CSU hat and a Utah shirt swung his arm into the side of White's head. The blow connected so hard -- it knocked the hat right off White's dome ..

. and a huge skirmish then ensued. Multiple people raced in .

.. and while White was pulled out of the mix quickly -- nearly a dozen people pushed, shoved and put each other in headlocks for several moments.

White, 30, played at Colorado from 2015-17. He's had a great summer, helping lead the Celtics to an NBA Finals win while later winning a gold medal in the Summer Olympics in Paris, France. Jesse D.
