Victorville Police Seek Public’s Help in Locating Missing Man

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — According to the Victorville Police Department, deputies are actively searching for 39-year-old Alphonso Johnson, a Victorville resident who was reported missing early Thursday morning.

Deputies responded to the 16800 block of Bear Valley Road around 10:14 a.m. after receiving the missing persons report.



Authorities learned that Johnson was last seen at approximately 6:00 a.m. at Desert Valley Hospital.

Johnson has an intellectual disability and requires daily medication for a medical condition, sheriff’s officials said in an written statement . He does not have a cell phone with him. At the time of his disappearance, Johnson was wearing a red shirt, green camo shorts, black sunglasses, and a black jacket.

He is described as 5’6” tall, weighing approximately 190 lbs., with brown eyes and short, light brown hair. The Victorville Police Department is urging anyone with information regarding Johnson’s whereabouts to contact the Victorville Police Station at (760) 241-2911 or Sheriff’s Dispatch at (760) 956-5001.
