Victoria Monét joined Megan Thee Stallion for a steamy Coachella performance, leaving fans wishing that they “kissed”. Coachella has come around faster than we can pull on our cowboy boots and a**less chaps, and the music and arts festival has brought with it a series of stellar queer acts including Trixie Mattel, Lady Gaga and Charli XCX. On Sunday night (13 April), LGBTQ+ ally Megan Thee Stallion delivered a stellar performance at the Indo, California-based festival.

The star performed her hit tracks including “Thot S***”, “Savage” and “Body” before bringing out guest stars Queen Latifah, Ciara and Monét. Y.” while Ciara took to the stage during “Roc Steady”, which samples her track “Goodies”. The pair then performed the latter track together.

However, it was Megan and bisexual icon Monét’s performance of their duet “Spin” (with a side of the guest star’s hit track “On My Mama”) which got the crowd going. Monét was flipped upside down by the backing dancers before the two women shook their hips atop each other. At one point, Monét straddled Megan’s thigh as they shared the microphone to sing the track.

A second commented that “it got sexy on stage,” to say the least. “Both on the same stage doing ‘Spin’ feels like the kind of moment Coachella was made for,” wrote a third.

“This moment is very iconic,” another added. “THIS IS EVERYTHING,” a fourth echoed.Fans online also noticed that Megan’s backstage outfit change appeared to be a nod to icon Janet Jackson.
