Veterans Day Deals: See What Businesses Are Giving Away Freebies

Businesses are saluting veterans and active-duty service members with freebies and exclusive offers on Veterans Day.

Businesses across the U.S. are thanking veterans for their service with freebies and other exclusive offers on Monday.

Applebee's is honoring active duty military, veterans, reserves, and National Guard members with a free full-size entree on Veteran's Day. Those eligible can choose from seven meals: the Top Sirloin, Classic Bacon Cheeseburger, Chicken Tenders Platter, Double Crunch Shrimp, Fiesta Lime Chicken, Oriental Chicken Salad and Three-Cheese Chicken Penne. To redeem the promotion, customers must show proof of service.



Any of the following can be used to demonstrate service: a U.S. Uniformed Services ID Card, U.

S. Uniformed Services Retired ID Card, current Leave and Earnings Statement (LES), veterans' organization card, photograph in uniform, wearing a uniform, DD214 and citation or commendation. The restaurant has been running the promotion for 17 years, serving over 11.

7 million free meals. Applebee's will also give those who served a $5 "Bounce Back Card" to redeem for dine-in, to-go, or delivery orders within a three-week window. Johnny Rockets will saluting active duty military and veterans with a free Single Burger with a purchase of any drink or shake on Monday.

The deal is available for dine-in customers who show ID or wear their military uniform. California Pizza Kitchen is celebrating U.S.

veterans and active-duty service members with a free entree and drink from a prix fixe menu. No purchase is necessary, but customers will be asked to show military ID. The restaurant will also be giving veterans and service members a Buy One Get One coupon for any pizza, pasta or salad.

The coupon is redeemable from November 12 through November 25. IHOP is offering a free Red, White and Blueberry pancake combo on Veterans Day from 7 a.m.

to 7 p.m. The deal is available to dine-in customers at participating restaurants who show military ID or proof of service.

Great Clips is thanking veterans with a free haircut or a free haircut card to use on a future visit. Non-military customers can also get a free haircut card on Monday to give to a service member or veteran. Chili's is giving away a free meal to veterans and active military members on Monday.

The promotion is available to dine-in customers on select items at participating locations. Customers can redeem the offer by showing their military ID. Veterans and active-duty military members can enjoy a free burger and side at Red Robin on Veterans Day.

The restaurant is giving away a free Red's Big Tavern Burger and bottomless side, including fries, chips, steamed broccoli or a side salad. The offer is available to dine-in customers who show proof of service. Veterans Day also offers exclusive deals throughout the year through the Red Robin Royalty Military Program.
