Vehari DC opens Suthra Punjab Control Room at DC complex

VEHARI - Deputy Commissioner Vehari Imrana Touqeer on Thursday inaugurated the Suthra Punjab Control Room at the DC Com­plex, followed by a cake-cutting ceremony to mark the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, DC Imrana Touqeer stated that the initiative aligns with the vision of Chief Minister Mary­am Nawaz Sharif to ensure a cleaner and greener Punjab. She emphasized that the pri­mary objective of the control room is to strengthen moni­toring of the sanitation system throughout the district.

The Suthra Punjab Control Room will provide real-time monitoring of sanitation oper­ations, including live tracking of waste collection vehicles. The movement of vehicles and the collection of waste will be digitally recorded. Daily per­formance evaluations of the Waste Management Company will be conducted, and penal­ties will be imposed in cases of unsatisfactory service.



Ad­ditional Deputy Commissioner (Finance & Planning), Mr. Mu­zaffar Khan, briefed DC Imrana Touqeer on the system. He ex­plained that working hours of each vehicle will be monitored, and live attendance of supervi­sors and sanitary workers will be ensured.

Present at the cere­mony were ADC Revenue Syed Usman Munir Bukhari, ADC Finance Muzaffar Khan, As­sistant Commissioner Ghazala Kanwal, District Manager Mul­tan Solid Waste Management Company Arsalan Hameed, and Mr. Rana Khaleel.
