Vehari DC, DPO visit DHQ hospital, prison, Dar-ul-Aman on Eid Day

VEHARI - Vehari Deputy Commissioner Imrana Tauqeer and District Police Officer Mansoor Aman visited various institutions and places on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr as part of their commitment to public service. They visited the District Headquarters Hospital, where they inquired about the well-being of patients, and reviewed the available medical facilities. Sweets were distributed among patients, their attendants, doctors, and paramedical staff, and the doctors and staff were instructed to ensure better care for the patients.

Later, they visited the Dar-ul-Aman where they distributed Eid gifts, sweets, juices, and chocolates among the resident women and children and cut an Eid cake. The Deputy Commissioner emphasised the importance of including all segments of society in Eid celebrations and highlighted the special care being provided to the women residing in Dar-ul-Aman. The DPO assured that their issues would be resolved on a priority basis.



Additionally, when a worker from the Clean Punjab Program fell ill while on duty, the Deputy Commissioner and DPO visited the hospital to in inquire about his health and appreciated his dedication. They instructed the MS of DHQ Hospital to ensure the worker’s proper treatment and provide free medicines. They also acknowledged the services of the workers in keeping the city clean, even on Eid day.

Also, Deputy Commissioner and DPO visited the District Jail Vehari, where they distributed sweets among the inmates and extended Eid greetings. The Deputy Commissioner emphasised that hatred should be directed towards crime, not towards people, and stressed the importance of guiding prisoners toward becoming respectable citizens. The DPO also underscored the significance of protecting the fundamental rights of prisoners.

During these visits, Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue Syed Usman Munir Bukhari, Assistant Commissioner Ghazala Kanwal, MS DHQ Hospital Dr. Ahmad Faraz, Superintendent Jail Imran Naveed Ashraf, and other officials were also present..
