VEHARI - On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Vehari Ms. Imrana Taqeer, a series of official meetings were chaired by Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Syed Usman Muneer Bukhari to review key administrative initiatives. A revenue meeting assessed progress on Board of Revenue Punjab’s “PLUS Project”, distribution of Wandajaat, mutation records, and recovery of government dues including Abiana, mutation fees, agricultural income tax, stamp duty, and more.
Officers were directed to ensure 100% recovery and compliance. Participants included AC Vehari Ghazala Kanwal, GAR Shahid Nawab Tahsildaar Vehari Malik Javed and other revenue officials. In a separate meeting, approval was granted for the provision of 354 assistive devices to persons with disabilities, including 265 wheelchairs, 18 tricycles, 44 canes, and 7 prosthetic limbs.
CEO Health Dr. Fahad Waheed, CEO Education Nasir Aziz, Social Welfare officers Muhammad Anwar and Muhammad Ashfaq, DLO Hafiz Waseem, Zakat Officer Mubashir Hussain, and Principal Special Education Institute Zakia Tariq were present. Meanwhile, the Environment Department, led by Deputy Director Muhammad Idrees Bhatti along with Assistant Director Miss Quratul Ain, Inspector Muhammad Javed, inspected 11 brick kilns in Machhiwal, imposing Rs.
200,000 in fines and demolishing one kiln for non-compliance with zigzag technology. In another session on irrigation dues, the ADC (Revenue) emphasized legal action against defaulters and instructed officers to compile detailed lists of unrecoverable dues for submission to the Board of Revenue. GAR Shahid Nawab and irrigation department officials also attended.
