On Sunday morning, Alia Bhatt shared the teaser trailer of her upcoming film Jigra , that she is also producing. In the film, she plays this loving sister who goes all guns blazing out to save her brother played by The Archies fame Vedang Raina . The teaser plays out to the song ‘Phoolo ka taaro ko’ from Dev Anand - Zeenat Aman’s 1971 hit film Haré Rama Haré Krishna.

A source close to the development shared that when the makers learnt about Vedang’s singing skills, it was decided that he would be singing the song for the film. In fact the album of the film will feature Vedang’s version. ETimes had earlier reported that Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina had undergone extensive training with experts to play basketball for the film.
