USAA hosts Padres "Little MVP" camp for military children

SAN DIEGO (KUSI / FOX 5) - USAA hosted 50 children from military families for their Little MVP Baseball Camp at Petco Park.This camp is a part of USAA's Salute to Service campaign, in an effort to give back to those military families that have served their country.The kids participated in pitching, hitting, fielding, bunting and base running drills to simulate what it's like to be a Padres ballplayer for a day.

To make the day at the yard even better, two Padres players showed up to hangout with the kids in attendance. First baseman Gavin Sheets and Infielder Mason McCoy decided the best way to spend their off day, was to give back to the children who's parents have sacrificed so much for the United States of America..
