US House Speaker on Hamas Leader's Death: 'Justice Has Once Again Been Served'

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) – US House Speaker Mike Johnson said on Thursday that Israel has "served justice once again" by eliminating Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, just over two moths after it assassinated his predecessor.

Johnson said that the death of Sinwar, accused by Israel of orchestrating the October 7 attack, "brings hope for all those who seek to live in freedom and relief to Israelis he has sought to oppress.
