US Air Force Band to make stop in Decatur

Considered the premier jazz ensemble of the United States Air Force, the band will perform a free show at 7:30 p.m. April 29, at Kirkland Fine Arts Center on the Millikin University campus.

The band will also perform at nearby venues, including Champaign Central High School, the Effingham Performance Center and Morris University Center in Edwardsville. The musical program ranges from big band hits of the 1940s to brand-new compositions written for the tour. Tickets, although free, are required for the concerts.
