The No. 1 Texas Longhorns have a good problem on their hands in the quarterback room. Steve Sarkisian has two bonafide QB superstars in his locker room: Quinn Ewers and Arch Manning.

When Ewers suffered an abdominal strain during the second quarter of this past Saturday's matchup against UTSA, former No. 1 overall recruit Arch Manning stepped into the game and delivered a masterful performance. The sophomore signal caller finished the game with 223 yards and four touchdowns on 9-12 passing.

He also had his athleticism on full display, rushing for 53 yards and another touchdown on the ground. Ewers is currently listed as "questionable" to play in the Longhorns' upcoming home matchup against LA-Monroe. If Ewers is unable to go, Manning will earn the first start of his collegiate career.

That being said, he feels both quarterbacks should see action in Texas' schedule moving forward. "Quinn Ewers is your starter, boys," Meyer said. ".

.. Doing well against [UTSA], that's a warmup.

Quinn Ewers has beat Alabama at Bama. Quinn Ewers beat the Wolverines badly at Ann Arbor. He's your starting quarterback.

"As soon as [Ewers] comes back, I'd play Quinn and I'd play Arch. I would play him." What does Texas do with Quinn Ewers & Arch Manning? You play ‘em both 🤘 @3xOptionShow @Wendys #WendysPartner pic.
