The lorry, which had a police escort and was carrying a mobile home, caused gridlock in Upton as it negotiated the town's narrow streets on its way to Hillbee Farm on Monday. The situation is monitored by planning enforcement officers but the mobile home is understood to be replacement rather than an additional dwelling. Planning permission for a traveller site at the farm was refused at a meeting of Malvern Hills' Southern Area Planning Committee Meeting on Wednesday, March 19.
