The circumstances surrounding and the handling of the recent death of a K-9 was questioned in a TikTok posted by a former Dorchester County Sheriff’s deputy. In the video, former deputy Adam Throckmorton alleges the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO) is not properly investigating the K-9’s handler and also alleges the media did not report about the K-9’s death. The story was, in fact, widely reported when it happened in late July by more than a half-dozen Charleston-area media outlets, including The Journal Scene, which posted an article on journalscene.
