While the Mumbai-based automaker will introduce the facelifted versions of some of its best-selling models, it will also present a few all-new electric SUVs in order to strengthen its position in the EV segment. Recently, the company commenced the deliveries of the BE6 and XEV 9e electric SUVs across the country.

In this piece, we will talk in detail about the upcoming Mahindra SUVs in India in 2025-26.1. Mahindra Thar FaceliftIt has been almost five years since the present model of Thar SUV went on sale in the Indian market and hence it is due for a major facelift.



Being internally codenamed as W515, Mahindra Thar facelift is under development while expected to launch next year in India. It has been learnt that the styling and interior updates will be in line with the Thar Roxx – the 5-door version of the standard Thar. Mechanically, it is likely to retain the same set of petrol and diesel engines with the current crop of gearbox choices.

Hence, the company is working on a facelifted version of the SUV as the current iteration has completed nearly four years.

Codenamed as W616, the Mahindra XUV7OO facelift will be introduced in 2026 in the domestic market.Mahindra XUV700It will take design cues from the BE6 and XEV 9e. The cabin updates and features will also be borrowed from the recently launched BE6 and XEV 9e electric SUVs.

Though no mechanical changes are expected at all and the ongoing engine and transmission options will be carried over.3. Mahindra XUV 3XO EVSource: TeamBHPMahindra is readying the all-electric version of the XUV 3XO and it could launch by the end of 2025 in our country.

The XUV 3XO EV has been spotted multiple times during its test runs across the country and the spy-images suggest no major styling updates except for a few EV-specific badges. Mahindra XUV 3XO EV will be positioned below the XUV4OO while it will lock horns with Tata Nexon EV. It could be equipped with two battery options – 34.

Mahindra XEV 7eMahindra is ready to expand the range of its born-electric SUVs with the third model in the form of the XEV 7e. Based on the INGLO architecture as the BE6 and XEV 9e, it is likely to launch in early 2026 in India. Though the XEV 7e has already been leaked online, the interior cabin and technical specs are not known yet.

Mahindra XEV 7e could be offered with two battery packs of 59 kWh and 79 kWh with a driving range of 500+ km on a single charge. It could be priced in a range of Rs 20-25 lakh (ex-showroom).5.

Mahindra Thar ElectricMahindra Thar.e ConceptMahindra is believed to be working on a fully electric version of the Thar off-roader for the Indian market. It unveiled the Thar.

e concept in August 2023 and work has begun to make it a reality. We have learnt that Mahindra Thar Electric will be based on a tweaked version of the INGLO platform while the wheelbase and ground clearance will also be increased. The battery pack will be positioned underneath the floor and it could return a driving range of 400-500 km on a full charge.
