Upasana Konidela now follows an organised structure that involves writing things down, finding solutions and determining whether she is happy with the same. Upasana Konidela, entrepreneur and wife of actor Ram Charan , recently opened up about her personal journey, candidly sharing her battle with depression. She spoke about facing emotional struggles and stress-induced eating, revealing that her “biggest achievement" was “taking control of my body into my own hands.
" In a heartfelt conversation, she also recalled isolating herself in a room and turning to food for comfort during difficult times. Upasana Konidela was talking to Masoom Minawala when she revealed that she let her emotions rule over her body in the past. The entrepreneur also admitted that she would eat when stressed.
She said, “I would lock myself up in a room and feel depressed." However, she now has control over her body and my emotions, as she mentioned during the chat, calling it “something I have achieved." The philanthropist added, “I know now how to deal with situations like these.
If I am stressed, I tell myself to find a solution. I don’t eat too much during that time like I used to do before. It had a huge impact on my health.
Today, I am very proud to say that I have control over my body." Upasana, then, went on to talk about her transformation for which she credited her mindset. She now follows an organised structure which involves writing things down, finding solutions and determining whether she is happy with the same.
She executes the solution only if she is confident about the same. “So, it’s not just spiralling downward. I think these exercises have helped me a lot in my life," said Upasana.
Upasana Konidela, married to Ram Charan for more than a decade, has been a doting wife to him ever since they tied the knot in 2012. The duo met as schoolmates, and lost touch after quitting the educational institution, only to reconnect after a decade. Soon after, they started dating and got engaged in December 2011.
The couple got married in a dreamy wedding ceremony in Hyderabad a year after exchanging rings. Together, they are now parenting their adorable baby girl Klin Kaara, whom they welcomed in June 2023. On the work front, Ram Charan was last seen in Game Changer alongside Kiara Advani.
