The Mean Green were in control the entire way in a 68-48 win. Here’s a quick-hit look at where UNT stands. Where UNT stands: The Mean Green improved to 6-1 on the season and posted another impressive win over a traditional mid-major power.



Northern Iowa was picked to finish second in the Missouri Valley in the league’s preseason poll. Now what?: UNT advanced to the championship game of the four-team event tomorrow. The Mean Green will take on Utah State at 5:30 p.
