Union Min Kishan Reddy rejects CM Revanth Reddy's charge over delay on Governor’s e-Prix query

HYDERABAD: Rejecting the allegation by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy of a tacit understanding between the BRS and BJP, Union Minister G Kishan Reddy has said that the former lacked proper understanding of the process of giving legal opinion on any matter sought by the governor. Kishan was reacting to the allegation by the chief minister that the delay on whether the ACB can start an investigation into the allegations of irregularities by former minister KT Rama Rao in conducting the was due to any “secret deal”. “The chief minister has to understand that such a process takes time,” the BJP state president said, appealing to the former not to make hasty comments.

Kishan also condemned the attack on the Vikarabad district collector and his team and said that violence was not the way to solve any problem. He also condemned filing of cases on villagers and farmers. “The CM should talk to the people in Lagcherla and convince them to hand over their lands.



He should personally handle the issue as the attack took place in his own constituency,” the BJP leader said. Speaking to the media during a break in campaigning for the Maharashtra Assembly elections, Kishan recalled that his party has been demanding that the investigation into phone-tapping and Kaleshwaram corruption allegations be handed over to the CBI. He recalled that Revanth had demanded a CBI inquiry into Kaleshwaram before the Congress came to power and had been silent after becoming the chief minister.
