SPRINGFIELD — Jose Martinez-Lopez enjoyed a stint of freedom after being released by a judge Tuesday following his arrest for allegedly damaging a West Springfield liquor store in a drunken fury. It was short-lived. Officers with Homeland Security swept in that day and took Martinez-Lopez into federal custody as soon as he emerged from Springfield District Court following his arraignment on misdemeanor charges of disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and assaulting three police officers.
