This periodic compilation spotlights some of the most notable and under-the-radar places that have popped up recently. Los Feliz— Alley Steakhouse has taken over the former Atrium space in Los Feliz, including the adjoining brick-laden alleyway. Koreatown— Oppa Ramyun has opened in the same Koreatown two-story strip mall as Okinawan musubi spot Supamu and Spot Coffee. Try the spicy pork broth Oppa Dopamine Ramyun, or the Mexican-style ramyun with cilantro, lime, and corn. 3324 W.

Sixth Street, Los Angeles, CA 90020. Downtown— Downtown LA’s newest rooftop bar, Florentin , serves a menu of cocktails alongside Mediterranean-inspired small bites and pizza. Split a spicy lamb sausage pie paired with a prickly pair hibiscus margarita, and take in the sweeping views of the city.
