Ultraviolette F99 unveiled, eyes highest top-speed: 0-100 kmph in 3 seconds!

Ultraviolette Automotive has unveiled its pre-production prototype of the F99 motorcycle, considered India’s first superbike. Developed in Bengaluru, it features a 90 kW motor that accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in three seconds and reaches a top speed of 265 kmph. The company aims to set new speed records with this model.

Ultraviolette Automotive has unveiled its pre-production prototype of the F99 motorcycle , which is being touted as India’s first superbike. After its initial debut at the EICMA show in Milan last year, the F99 has now arrived in its Indian avatar and is set to challenge speed records. The F99, designed and developed entirely at Ultraviolette’s R&D headquarters in Bengaluru, is an industry-first for the Indian two-wheeler market.

Powered by a 90 kW motor, the F99 boasts an acceleration from 0 to 100 kmph in just three seconds and can reach a top speed of 265 kmph. With these performance figures on paper, the company is aiming to claim two major records in the coming three months: the highest top speed for an Indian motorcycle and the fastest quarter-mile time. India's fastest electric motorcycle Ultraviolette F77 with 307 km range With a kerb weight of 178 kg, the F99 features Ohlins suspension, Brembo brakes with a twin-disc setup at the front, and lightweight alloy wheels fitted with Pirelli racing slicks .



The bike also features a machined swing arm and a carbon fibre body. Like its sibling, the F77, the all-new F99 features a very modern and futuristic design that completely sets it apart in terms of appearance - especially with the red and white bodywork. The F77 is now available in five cities—Hyderabad, Kochi, Ahmedabad, Pune, and Bengaluru—with plans to expand to Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Visakhapatnam, and Mangalore in the coming month.
