A committee consisting of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism Minister, Vijitha Herath, Justice and National Integrity Minister, Harshana Nanayakkara, and Deputy Minister of Defence, Aruna Jayasekara, has been appointed to examine the recent UK sanctions on ex-military top brass and one-time Ampara-Batticaloa LTTE commander, and make recommendations to the Cabinet-of-Ministers.
