New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is all set to begin the written exam for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) December 2024 session.

The exam authority has clearly stated that the registration desk will be closed 30 minutes prior to the exam. UGC NET exam pattern The UGC NET written exam consists of two papers. Paper 1 intends to assess the teaching/ research aptitude of the candidate.
The UGC NET paper 1 consists of 50 questions with 2 marks each. The paper 2 is based on the subject selected by the candidate. The paper 2 comprises of 100 questions with 2 marks each.
The duration of the exam is three hours.
