Josh Emmett will hope to set up a title fight with a win in his clash with Lerone Murphy on April 5 as the UFC bring Fight Night: Emmett vs Murphy to Las Vegas.Josh Emmett and Lerone Murphy will look to cement their claim for a title fight by winning this match-up. Emmett hasn’t fought since knocking out Bryce Mitchell at UFC 296 back in December 2023.

That win was off the back of two losses, including in an interim title fight against Yair Rodriguez. The eighth-ranked fighter will be hoping to get back in form when he takes on Murphy, who is putting his undefeated record on the line.Murphy is coming off seven straight victories in the Octagon, rising to tenth place in the rankings in the process.
