Two-year-old dies in Smethwick hit-and-run - updates as police hunt ‘stolen’ Porsche driver

A stolen Porsche Cayenne has crashed into a Toyota leading to a two-year-old on board dying and four adults being injured

A two-year-old boy has died after a hit-and-run involving a stolen Porsche in Smethwick. The incident took place in Dartmouth Road shortly before 11pm on Saturday (December 14). A Porsche is said to have crashed into a Toyota with four adults and a child inside.

Sadly a two-year-old boy has died. A 29-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man are in a serious condition while another man and woman, both 30 are said to be ‘stable’. The car is said to have been stolen earlier in December. Police are appealing for the driver to hand themselves in. BirminghamLive has a reporter heading to the scene.
