Lucknow: The Gonda administration has approved primary schools in Maheshpur and Butani Vantangiya villages. Since assuming office in June 2023, DM Neha Sharma has actively worked towards integrating the Vantangiya community into the mainstream, a key priority of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. During her visit to the villages, she closely assessed the challenges faced by the residents and recognized the urgent need for educational facilities. Her proactive efforts approved the proposal, demonstrating the administration's commitment to inclusive development.
As per government directives, primary schools would be set up in Forest Village Buthani (Gram Panchayat Mahuli Khori, Chhapia) and Forest Village Maheshpur (Village Hardua, Nawabganj). The Uttar Pradesh Projects Corporation Limited has been entrusted with their construction, which is expected to be completed within the coming months. The announcement has sparked immense joy among the residents of Vantangiya villages.
Expressing gratitude, a resident shared, "Our children will no longer have to travel long distances for education. This is a significant step toward our village's development." This initiative is a milestone in the uplift of the Vantangiya community.
