Two remanded over Subang Jaya house break-in, attempted murder

KUALA LUMPUR: The police have obtained remand orders for two suspects in the house break-in and attempted murder case in SS14, Subang Jaya, yesterday.

KUALA LUMPUR: The police have obtained remand orders for two suspects in the house break-in and attempted murder case in SS14, Subang Jaya, yesterday. Subang Jaya police chief Assistant Commissioner Wan Azlan Wan Mamat said the first suspect was remanded for four days from today to Tuesday and the second suspect was remanded for six days from today to Thursday.He said checks showed that both have criminal and drug records and both tested positive for methamphetamine.

"The suspects have confessed to their involvement. During their arrests, items belonging to the complainant were confiscated."The investigation is determining whether the suspects are connected to other cases.



"Wan Azlan said one suspect successfully underwent surgery to remove a bullet shell and was in stable condition."A police officer sustained minor injuries in the incident and is receiving outpatient treatment."Yesterday, police arrested two suspects over a house break-in and attempted murder in SS14.

Police were alerted to the incident at 3.50pm.Upon arrival at the scene, police saw the suspects leaving the complainant's house.

They got into a car parked outside the house and sped off, colliding with a motorcycle and a police officer at the scene.An officer fired several shots at the suspects' vehicle.The suspects were apprehended at the SS14 overpass.
