Detroit was rocked by a fatal shooting at a tailgate following the Lions' 20-16 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. One man who was shot tragically died yesterday. Now, Detroit Police have reportedly told TMZ that a second victim has also passed.

According to authorities, the first victim, a man in his 40s, was at a party at Eastern Market in downtown Detroit after the game when he got into an altercation with another man. The two originally looked as if they were going to fight with their hands, but one of the men had other ideas. "A large fight broke out (which) disbursed after a few minutes," Detroit Police Chief James White said Sunday .



"They reconvened a few feet away from where the initial fight started. The two fighters put up their hands like they were about to fight each other ..

We've seen numerous examples of fan violence before, during and after NFL games lately. Fortunately, these incidents usually consist of some wrestling and punching before cooler heads prevail. This tragedy is a reminder of what can happen if one person decides to escalate the situation to another level.
