Two men attempt to illegally transfer 34 horses from Kyrgyzstan to Uzbekistan

- The State National Security Committee and border guards detained a smuggler in Uzgen district of Osh region while he was driving cattle to Uzbekistan. The suspect concluded an agreement with the citizen of Uzbekistan and bought 24 horses at the cattle market in Uzgen city the day before, the State National Security Committee reported on August 16. Having received a reward of 80,000 soms, he tried to illegally drive the horses to Uzbekistan.

Another citizen, born in 1999, was detained in Kara-Tobo village in Aksy district. He was trying to drive 10 horses. According to the laws, the seized 34 horses are subject to confiscation in favor of the state.



These horses will be transferred to the Border Service for protecting the state border..
