The incident occurred when a bus overturned at Kurpakhan Ghat road near Fujairah town on Sunday night. A native of Dammakkapeta of Medipalli mandal, Sheru Yerranna (50) died, Gajula Gangaraju from the same village was injured.
The details of another deceased is not yet known. According to family members, about 73 labourers working in Durvesh Engineering Emirates Company, Fujairah went to Ajman town in the company bus on Sunday. In the evening, they returned to their camp after completing shopping.
When they reached Kurpakhan Ghat road, the bus overturned after the brakes of the vehicle failed. While nine persons died, about 30 were injured. Besides two from Telangana, three from Rajasthan , Punjab-2, Uttar Pradesh-1 and another one from Pakistan were died in the accident.
