Two Irish players celebrate after bagging lifechanging sums in EuroMillions draw as big winning county revealed

TWO Irish punters are celebrating tonight after winning big in the EuroMillions.In total, over 34,000 players in Ireland won prizes in the EuroMillions and Plus games.And one came out on top, winning a massive €500,000 in the Plus draw.

Meanwhile, another lucky player bagged €127,814 in the main draw by matching all five numbers.There was no winner of the EuroMillions jackpot tonight, which is sitting at a massive €39,576,503.The numbers drawn in the main draw were: 3, 31, 33, 38 and 44.



The two lucky stars drawn were 6 and 12.The numbers pulled in the EuroMillions Plus draw were: 1, 3, 9, 10 and 12.The Irish player matched all five numbers to win €500,000.

The winning ticket was sold in Dublin.And 76 players matched four of the numbers to get €2,000.There were 10 winners of the Ireland-only raffle, bagging €5,000 each.

And once those numbers were pulled in the 2pm draw yesterday the Wicklow player got a whole lot richer.The National Lottery have confirmed an email and notification has been sent to the Wicklow winner.So, if you’re living in Wicklow and buy your Lotto tickets online, make sure to check your emails as soon as possible.

‘PHENOMENAL WIN’The lucky player has become Ireland’s 10th millionaire this year.And the Lotto win came just hours after Rory McIlroy secured a career grand slam with his US Masters win.National Lottery spokesperson Darragh O’Dwyer joked the winner is slipping on a “green jacket” of their own.
