
MEMPHIS, Tenn. - A man and woman were taken into custody for assaulting a repo man while he was attempting to repossess a car, the Memphis Police Department (MPD) said. Police said on Friday morning, officers arrived at the University Gardens Manor and took Brandi Revels, 27, into custody.
They also identified Nicholas Wray, 34, as the man who ran over the repo man with a car and took him into custody, MPD said. The car was located and towed to a city lot, according to officials. When the repo man was under the car, the woman told the man to "hurry up" before the man entered the vehicle and ran over him, police said. The repo man was transported to Regional One in non-critical condition, according to Memphis police. Both Revels and Wray face charges of aggravated assault.
