Photo by Ashley Fraser / POSTMEDIA Article content Two people have been found dead after a structure fire in the Township of Laurentian Valley. The Ontario Provincial Police said officers and Laurentian Valley firefighters were called to a blaze on Morrison Drive shortly after 11 p.m.



on Thursday. Both victims were found inside the damaged structure, the OPP said in a release on Friday, April 4. The identities of both deceased persons had not yet been confirmed, the release added.

Activate your Online Access Now Article content The investigation into the fire was being led by the crime unit from the OPP’s Upper Ottawa Valley detachment with assistance from OPP Forensic Identification Services and the provincial Office of the Fire Marshal and in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner for Ontario and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service.
