Two arrested in connection to February shooting at Aiken gas station

Two men have been arrested in connection to a Feb. 19 shooting in Aiken. Investigators obtained arrest warrants for Trayvon Tawian Copeland, 22, and Chadd Lamar Hooper, 23, in connection to a shooting incident at an ENMARK in Aiken.

Investigators were able to take Copeland and Hooper into custody in the 1900 block of Whiskey Road Aiken, around 11 a.m. Dec.



10 without incident. Copeland and Hooper have been booked into the Aiken County Detention Center on charges for attempted murder, kidnapping, armed robbery and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime. This investigation is on-going and as information will be released as it becomes available.
