Two men were arrested at the Saskatoon provincial jail on Tuesday, in connection with the city’s 12th homicide of the year. On Aug. 16, on the property of a home in the 200 block of Avenue I South when police responded to information indicating someone had been injured there.
Saskatoon police investigators arrested a 37-year-old man and a 28-year-old man at the correctional facility, police said in a Wednesday news release. The 37-year-old had previously been charged with second-degree murder in the death of , 30. He is also charged with indecently interfering with and offering an indignity to human remains.
The 28-year-old is the fourth person charged in the homicide investigation. He is charged with second-degree murder. Both men appeared in court on Wednesday.
