Brett Harrison contributed a hit and an RBI. Sawyer Tilley's sacrifice fly in the bottom of the first put Jerome on the board.

Drake Orr and Raul Rojas tacked on a hit and an RBI each. Mountain Home 21, Wood River 6 (Game 2, 4 innings) The Tigers scored nine runs in the top of the first inning and rolled from there. Wood River's Carter Thompson recorded a team-high two hits and an RBI.

m. Friday. Twin Falls 2, Minico 1 The Spartans outhit the Bruins 4-2 but Twin Falls (15-6, 6-1 GBC) prevailed in this low scoring affair.
Bruins junior Dalton Carter scored on a Cooper Thompson fielder's choice in the bottom of the third, only for Minico (7-12, 2-5 GBC) to tie it in the top of the fourth when Cody Carlson scored on a Will Cofer groundout. Twin Falls freshman Trey Walker scored the winning run on a passed ball in the bottom of the fifth. Maddox Stadelmeir and Nolan Lewhew recorded hits for the Bruins.
Kentyn Ketterling allowed one run on four hits and a walk while striking out four in a complete game win. Carlson went 2-for-3 to lead the Spartans. Braxon Trenkle allowed two runs (one earned) on two hits and three walks while striking out two.
The two teams will play again at Minico at 6 p.m. Thursday.
3A Wendell 5, Declo 1 Trojans senior Julian Ponce allowed one run on a hit and four walks while striking out 13 in six innings pitched. Chip Houser contributed two hits and an RBI, while Santos Suarez hit a two-run double in the bottom of the fifth as part of a four-run inning. Dodge Edgar had Declo's lone hit, an RBI triple in the top of the second.
Declo (1-10, 1-1 South East Idaho Conference) visits Teton at 4 p.m. Thursday.
Wendell (5-9-1, 2-0 SEIC) welcomes Gooding at 4 p.m. Friday.
SOFTBALL 5A Wood River 9, Canyon Ridge 2 (Game 1) Wolverines senior Makinzie Nelson put together an all-around dominant performance. The Montana signee allowed two unearned runs on two hits and four walks while striking out 12 and went 3-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs. Nelson and her younger sister, Paityn Nelson, swatted back-to-back home runs in the top of the fifth inning.
Hadley Elsbree added three hits and an RBI. Emmalese Nilsen finished with two hits and an RBI. Canyon Ridge's Dani Toolson was the only Riverhawk to get a hit off of Makinzie Nelson, singling in the bottom of the third and fifth.
Wood River 16, Canyon Ridge 11 (Game 2) The Wolverines scored 14 runs in the top of the second inning. Elsbree went 4-for-4 with four RBIs. Makinzie Nelson went 3-for-5 with a home run and five RBIs.
Marlee McLean tacked on two hits and three RBIs. Paityn Nelson contributed two hits and an RBI and pitched a complete game. Daisy Lopez added two hits.
Peyton Saldana went 2-for-4 with two RBIs to lead Canyon Ridge. She also allowed one run on five hits in three innings in the circle. Cale Carpenter added a hit and two RBIs.
